A Complete History Of Manchester United – 67/68

One of my favourite projects in recent years was when I had the opportunity to work with my hero, the late and great Patrick Barclay.

I was fortunate enough to work with Paddy on a few projects, including both films I did with BT Sport, Too Good To Go Down and True Genius. I was honoured enough to have a radio show commissioned with both of our names in the title, a billing I certainly didn’t deserve!

But the purpose of this post is to share an episode of the podcast series I did with Paddy, ‘A Complete History Of Manchester United’. It took in Matt Busby’s reign as manager and went up to the sacking of Dave Sexton. We had plans to make more, but, well, life and death happened.

This episode looks at Busby’s crowning glory, the European Cup victory of 1967/68.

You can listen to the full podcast series now on all of our audio platforms, too – click here to subscribe on Apple Podcasts.
